The Magnificant Redwoods

I knew we'd love the redwoods but I didn't really know we'd LOVE the redwoods.  Like I'd mentioned in the last post, we'd met a couple from Crescent City and they told us the drive to take for the best experience in that area.  You never really know until you're right there.  They are so magnificent.  What was not expected was how quiet and peaceful the whole area was.  We drove along the road and jumped out many times for pictures and then we came to a trail and decided we wanted to walk among them.  We wanted to keep going and going but our day was already ambitious so we had to turn around after a couple miles.  So glad that we did that hike though and again. I will be back.

If you look closely, you might be able to see Gannon!

The kids weren't the only ones that could fit in this tree, we all could and did!  It was hallow all the way up to the sky...

                                                      There's kids up there too...

                                                                   There's kids in there!

This little cutie was about four inches long!

                                                                          Love.

                                                    What a beautiful, peaceful place.
