Liberty Park, in the middle of Salt Lake City reminded me of Central Park, NYC, lots to do and see. The coolest thing there is a fountain that was designed to replicate the canyons and water flowage that surrounds SLC. Super cool place.
Then after an absolutely fantastic meal, the kids got to swim a bit!
The next morning as we headed out of the city toward our next destination we passed by the Great Salt Lake. Not surprisingly, we were surprised by...you guessed it, all the salt! We even passed by the Morton Salt factory, who knew! Well, not us anyway.
We found a place along the way that we could walk out onto some of the salt flats.
In Wisconsin this would be snow. In Utah, along this road, it's salt!
